Congratulations NPHS Musician Sebastian Andrade-Rondon
Congratulations to one of our students, Sebastian Andrade-Rondon on winning the Sarasota Young Artists Concerto Competition! Earlier this year, Sebastian auditioned and was ranked 1 st place in the state on bassoon and performed in the All State Symphonic Orchestra. This past weekend, Sebastian auditioned for the Concerto Competition and has tied for 1 st place (amongst ALL instruments, not just bassoon). Art Exhibition Begins Today
The Visual Arts Showcase begins today in the Performing Arts Center. The exhibition runs through April 3rd, with a reception on Thursday, March 26th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please stop by to see the wonderful artwork created by NPHS students this year. The exhibition is open during school hours (7:00 AM-3:00 PM), during performances, or you may schedule a time with the Art Teachers.

Congratulations Women's Chorus
Congratulations to the NPHS Advanced Women’s Chorus for WOWING the adjudicators yesterday at the District 11 Music Performance Assessment. They have earned themselves Straight Superior ratings on stage and in sight reading (given music never seen before and reading it for the first time with only one note given). Bravo, Chamber Orchestra!
Wednesday night, the NPHS Chamber Orchestra competed in the Florida Orchestra Association’s Music Performance Assessment. Please congratulate these students on their Straight Superior Ratings for the third year in a row! NPHS Art students recently travelled to Sarasota to visit the The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and to attend the Embracing Our Differences Art Show. The Museum of Art’s collection represents a vast range of cultures, mediums, techniques, and stories.

Orchestra Accolades
Saturday, January 31, 2026, 28 NPHS Orchestra students participated in the Florida Orchestra Association’s District Solo and Ensemble Contest. Some of our visual arts students participated and placed in the regional Scholastic Art Awards this year. This is a huge honor because over 200 students entered throughout the county.
