Visual Arts Students Shine

Some of our visual arts students participated and placed in the regional Scholastic Art Awards this year. This is a huge honor because over 200 students entered throughout the county. The winning 2D artworks are on display at the Sarasota Art Museum right now and the winning 3D artworks will be on display during the reception. The exhibit is in the Community Gallery till the conclusion of the Awards Reception on Thursday, February 19^th.

The Community Gallery is free and is located on the side with the Bistro, near the Art Studios. You can visit the exhibit during SAM's regular hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–5 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM–5 PM.
