Hello! My name is Ian Lee, and I’m excited to join the North Port High School community as the new Performing Arts Technician. Having spent the first 15 years of my life growing up in North Port, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to return and serve the community that was such an important part of my childhood.

 

A little about me: I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of Portland State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Before joining NPHS, I worked at Brookside Middle School and Wilkinson Elementary School. Through these roles, I had the opportunity to support students and staff, solve a variety of technical challenges, and develop a strong appreciation for the positive impact of a school community.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring technology, playing basketball, and fishing. This school year, I’m looking forward to supporting the Visual and Performing Arts Department, contributing to its productions and events, and using my technical background to help students and staff bring their creative ideas to life. I’m excited to begin this new chapter at North Port High School, and I look forward to meeting and working with everyone!
